A note from Kevin.
I'm Kevin Epps. I served as a court-appointed fiduciary in Georgia, managing the very work Francis is built to support — annual returns, inventories, court filings, and the constant juggle of statutory deadlines.
From inside the work, I watched conservators, guardians, and the attorneys who serve them spend weekends reconstructing the year from receipts, on tools that were never built for the job.
Francis is the software I wished I'd had — purpose-built for the people the court relies on, and made to earn its keep on the first annual return.

Is Francis AI a law firm? Does it give legal advice?
No. Francis AI is software, not a law firm, and it doesn't give legal advice. You stay the licensed or court-authorized fiduciary on every matter. Francis just helps you do that work faster and with fewer errors.
Which states and counties does Francis support?
At launch: Georgia conservators, guardians, and trustees, with county-specific templates for the metro Atlanta counties and major Georgia probate courts. We're expanding across the Southeast based on where our beta users practice. Tell us your county when you join the beta and we'll add it to the queue.
What happens to my client and ward data?
It stays yours. Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Hosted in the United States on AWS. Isolated per tenant. Never used to train AI models. We can sign a BAA on request.
Will the AI invent numbers or transactions?
No. Francis only assembles drafts from data you provide. Every figure shows the source it came from. You review the draft and sign before anything is filed.
How is this different from Clio or other practice-management software?
Generic legal practice management is built for billable-hour attorneys. Francis is built for court-appointed fiduciaries — annual returns, inventories, county-specific templates, ward portals — work that general legal software treats as an afterthought.
How is this different from a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet doesn't know OCGA deadlines. It doesn't draft your court forms. It doesn't structure heir and asset intake. It doesn't survive an audit. Francis does.
Will I have to learn complicated software?
No. If you can use online banking, you can use Francis. We onboard every beta user personally.
How much does it cost?
Free during beta. After the beta, pricing depends on case load — we'll review pricing with you before you ever pay anything.
Can I export my data if I ever leave?
Yes. Full export of all your case data and documents in standard formats, anytime, no charge.
